We respect your right to control your data. You can delete your 2U account and associated data using the methods below.
Option 1: Delete from within the app
- Open the 2U app on your device.
- Go to your Profile tab.
- Tap Settings (gear icon).
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us. Please include the email address associated with your account so we can locate and process your request.

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:
- Your profile information (display name, bio, specialties, portfolio photos)
- Your authentication credentials
- Your vehicle information (clients)
- Your uploaded photos (profile, portfolio, job documentation)
- Your messages and conversations
What data is retained
The following data may be retained after account deletion:
- Payment records — retained for 7 years as required by law for tax and legal purposes.
- Anonymized reviews and ratings — may be retained to maintain platform integrity.
- Aggregated analytics data — non-identifiable usage statistics used to improve the app.
