What is Builder?

Builder is your local trades hub — the easiest way for contractors and tradespeople to connect with clients who need their skills. Clients post jobs, pros send quotes, and both sides communicate in-app to get work done.

How do I create an account?

Tap "Sign Up" and register with your email and a strong password, or continue with Apple or Google. You'll choose whether you're using Builder as a client (hiring) or a tradesperson (offering services).

How do I post a job? (Clients)

Tap the "+" button, describe the work, add photos, set a budget and timeline, and publish. Nearby tradespeople will see your job and can send you quotes. Posting a job is free.

How do I send a quote or find work? (Tradespeople)

Browse nearby jobs that match your trade, then submit a quote with your price and a message. Set up your profile with your specialties, experience, and credentials so clients know they can trust you.

How do I contact a client or tradesperson?

Open a job or a pro's profile and tap "Message" to start an in-app chat. All conversations happen inside Builder, so you don't need to share personal contact details to discuss the work.

How do payments and fees work?

Posting jobs and sending quotes is free. Where in-app payment is used, it's processed securely through Stripe — we never store your card details. Standard payment processing fees may apply. Many users also arrange payment directly for local work.

How do ratings work?

After a job, clients and tradespeople can leave honest ratings. Ratings build trust in the community, so please rate fairly based on your actual experience.

How do I report a job, user, or content?

If you see a scam, abusive behavior, or inappropriate content, use the report option on the job, profile, or chat, or email nimbusadev@gmail.com. See our Terms of Service for prohibited conduct.

How do I stay safe?

Verify credentials, agree on scope and price in writing through in-app chat, meet at the job site during reasonable hours, and trust your instincts. Builder is not a party to agreements between users — use the same caution you would when hiring any contractor.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account in the app under Profile › Settings › Delete Account, or email nimbusadev@gmail.com. See the Delete Account page for details.
