Delete Account / Data

Downlow Connect does not have user accounts. There is no sign-in, no profile, no name on file, and no contact information collected. In nearly every case there is nothing to delete on our side.

What is stored on your phone

The App stores a small set of preferences locally on your phone (such as 12h/24h time format and °F/°C temperature unit). This data never leaves your device.

To delete it: uninstall the App from your phone. Reinstalling later will start with the defaults.

What might exist on our servers

The App sends fully anonymous product telemetry to us — event type, device model, firmware version, app version, platform, and a server timestamp. These records contain no user identifier, no device serial number, no email, no name, and no contact information. They cannot be linked back to you as an individual.

Because these records are anonymous, we have no way to identify "yours" to delete them. However, if you want all telemetry sent from your phone to be irretrievably stopped going forward, uninstall the App.

Crash and diagnostic reports

Automated crash reports we receive contain technical information (phone model, OS version, app version, stack trace). They do not contain personal information. To stop new crash reports, uninstall the App.

Bluetooth pairing

Your Bluetooth pairing information with Downlow hardware is managed by iOS or Android's Bluetooth subsystem, not by the App. To remove a paired device:

iPhone: Settings → Bluetooth → tap the (i) next to the device → Forget This Device.
Android: Settings → Connected devices → tap the gear next to the device → Unpair.
