Nimbusa ("we", "our", "us") operates the Earni mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Apple Sign-In: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address if you choose to hide your email.
• Google Sign-In: When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google user identifier, name, and email address.
• Email/Password Accounts: If you create an account with email and password, we collect your email address, chosen display name, and a securely hashed password (handled by Firebase Authentication).

Profile Information

• Display name, avatar, role within your family group, stars earned, piggy bank balance, and chore completion statistics.

Photos

• Photos you voluntarily take or upload as proof of completed chores, reference photos for chore instructions, profile photos, or family banner images. These are stored in Firebase Storage and are visible to members of your family group.

Family Data

• Family group names, invite codes, chore details (titles, descriptions, assignments, schedules), reward listings, and leaderboard statistics. This data is shared among all members of your family group.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the App, including family chore management, star tracking, and rewards.
• To display your profile and chore statistics to other members of your family group.
• To send push notifications about chore assignments, approvals, and reminders (if enabled).
• To improve the App and fix bugs.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase servers. We use Firebase Security Rules to restrict access so that users can only read and modify data within their own family group. All network communication uses HTTPS encryption. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Sharing

Your personal data is shared only with members of your family group within the App. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not display advertising in the App.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Chore history and family statistics may be retained in anonymized form so other family members' records remain consistent.

7. Your Rights

• Access: You can view your data within the App (Profile tab).
• Deletion: You can delete your account from Settings, which removes your personal data.
• Camera & Photos: You can revoke camera or photo library access at any time in your device settings.
• Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Earni is designed for family use, including children. Children under 13 should use the App only under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or guardian who manages the family group. The parent or guardian (admin) is responsible for the data of child members in their family. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental consent through the family admin system.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
