Nimbusa ("we", "our", "us") operates the Que'd mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Apple Sign-In: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address if you choose to hide your email.
- Guest Accounts: If you sign in as a guest, we collect only the display name you provide.
Profile Information
- Display name and optional profile photo you upload.
Location Data
- With your permission, we collect your approximate location to find nearby players and populate location-based leaderboards. Location data is converted to a geohash (a coarse representation) and is not stored as precise coordinates. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings.
Game Data
- Game results, scores, points, win/loss records, daily streaks, and leaderboard rankings.
Payment Information
- If you use the Pay It Forward feature, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment credentials. We receive only a transaction confirmation and the amount from Stripe.
Photos
- Profile photos and winner selfies you voluntarily upload. These are stored securely and visible to other users within the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the app, including matchmaking, leaderboards, and challenges.
- To display your profile and game stats to other players.
- To find players near you (with your permission).
- To process Pay It Forward transactions.
- To improve the app and fix bugs.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not collect your phone number.
- We do not store payment card details — all payment processing is handled by Stripe.
- We do not store your precise GPS coordinates — only a coarse geohash.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, storage, and analytics. Firebase Privacy Policy

5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Google Firebase servers. We use Firebase Security Rules to restrict access so that users can only read and modify their own data. All network communication uses HTTPS encryption. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Game results and leaderboard entries persist to maintain accurate rankings. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for analytics.
7. Your Rights
- Access: You can view your data within the app (Profile tab).
- Deletion: You can delete your account from Settings, which removes your personal data.
- Location: You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
- Ad Personalization: You can limit ad tracking in your iOS settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
8. Children's Privacy
Que'd is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app or on our website. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
